Applying Enterprises’ Frugal Innovation in Ecologically Vulnerable Areas: A Fuzzy-Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis of the Influence Paths

چکیده
Frugal innovation has become popular in ecologically vulnerable areas the past decade, as it was initiated under a resource-constrained paradigm. However, there been limited research on its influence factors and fundamental operating mechanisms such areas. This paper aims to address this gap by using qualitative comparative analysis (QCA) analyze unique datasets from three China. Based theory of planned behavior, study identifies key frugal innovation: behavioral attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavior control. The relationships among these pathways are also described. study’s findings suggest: (1) is an integrated product multiple pathways, where same goal can be achieved through different pathways; (2) Three for conducting high-level identified: attitude-oriented, norm-oriented, attitude-norm-oriented pathways. Behavioral attitudes norms two dominant that enterprises carry out innovation. (3) Perceived control does not play leading role environment characteristics heavily (4) lack main causes low-level enterprises. In conclusion, systematically investigates enrich promote effective development strategy

Fuzzy Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis
Sets can be subsets of larger sets. For example, the set of grad students is a subset of the set of university students. The set of cats is a subset of the set of mammals. Sometimes, these subsets are definitional (as in the previous examples), but sometimes they can be causal. For example, the set of students who studied constitute a subset of students who did well on the test. The set of zip ...

Fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (Fs/QCA) is a social science me thod developed in order to combine case-oriented and variable-oriented quantitative analysis. It started with the creation of qualitative comparative analysis [1], with Fs/QCA later developed by applying fuzzy-set theory [2]. Although the fuzzy-set approach is still considered to be in the process of being developed [3-5...
متن کاملInter-Firm Knowledge Transfer And Innovation In SMEs: A Fuzzy-Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis
This study investigates the conditions leading to higher levels of innovation using fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA). More specifically, using fsQCA, this study explores the impact of inter-organisational knowledge transfer networks and organisations’ internal capabilities on different types of innovation in Small to Medium size Enterprises (SMEs) in the high-tech sector. A su...
